Description
Ethanol appears as a clear colorless liquid with a characteristic vinous odor and pungent taste. Vapors are heavier than air. Ethanol with a small amount of an adulterant added to be unfit for use as a beverage.
Application
Ethanol can be used to make acetic acid, beverages, flavors, dyes, fuels, etc. Ethanol with a volume fraction of 70% to 75% is also commonly used in medical treatment as a disinfectant, etc. It is widely used in the national defense chemical industry, medical and health care, food industry, and industrial and agricultural production.
